This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies ShiftLog.it (the "Service") uses. The Service is provided by Softlane sp. z o.o.; full company details are in our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
1.1. Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, also let a website store information on your device and read it later.
1.2. Under Article 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law (implementing Article 5(3) of the EU ePrivacy Directive), storing or reading information on your device requires your consent, unless it is strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for.
2. What we use
2.1. We use only cookies and local storage that are strictly necessary to provide the Service and the functions you choose in it. They do not track you, are not used for advertising, and are not shared with anyone. That is why we do not ask for consent and do not show a cookie banner.
| Name | Type | Purpose | How long it is kept |
|---|---|---|---|
SESSION |
Cookie | Keeps you signed in while you use the Service. | Until you close your browser; the session also ends after a period of inactivity or when you log out. |
XSRF-TOKEN |
Cookie | Security: protects your account against cross-site request forgery. | Until you close your browser. |
__shiftlog_ui_config__ |
Local storage | Remembers the colour theme (light or dark) you chose. | Until you clear your browser's data. |
shiftlog.workLogView |
Local storage | Remembers whether you view your work log as a list or a calendar. | Until you clear your browser's data. |
__shiftlog_last_activity__ |
Local storage | Records when you were last active, so the warning before your session expires is correct across several open tabs. | Until you clear your browser's data. |
3. Analytics
3.1. We measure visits to our website with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or local storage and does not store anything on your device. Your browser loads its script from Cloudflare's servers, which therefore receive your IP address. How this data is processed is explained in section 2.7 of our Privacy Policy.
3.2. Apart from that script, our pages do not load fonts, scripts or other content from third-party servers.
4. Payment pages
4.1. Checkout and "Manage billing" take you to pages run by Creem, our merchant of record. Those pages are on Creem's website, and Creem's own cookie policy applies to them.
5. Managing cookies
5.1. You can view and delete cookies and local storage, or block them, in your browser's settings.
If you block the SESSION or XSRF-TOKEN cookies, you will not be able to
sign in. If you clear local storage, the Service forgets your theme and view choices.
6. Changes to this policy
6.1. We will update this policy when the cookies or similar technologies we use change. If we ever want to use any that are not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent first.
